
Built for the Southern Railway to diagram 1579 as part of a batch ordered in May 1930. Weighs just over 25T and is fitted with a manual screw brake only. It is of a right handed ducket design and originally the van would have had sand boxes on each end. The history of the vehicle is unknown but at some point it moved to Littleton colliery system and can be seen in many photographs.
