The Northamptonshire Ironstone Railway Trust is based within the grounds of The Hunsbury Hill Country Park located at Hunsbury Hill, Southwest of Northampton.
Hunsbury Hill was once an iron age hill fort. The hill fort site was quarried from 1873 to 1921 during which the ironstone railway was built.
